Who We Are
The opening sentence of the Bible tells us that God is an artist and the creator of all beauty. God made humanity to be the pinnacle of his creation, wanting us to both experience beauty and participate in it. To encounter pure beauty is to encounter Jesus Christ, his life, his love, and his work. When we encounter Jesus and follow him, we ourselves become new creations, renewed characters in his story. We invite you to join us on this beautiful journey.
New Creation is devoted to journeying with Jesus, cultivating community, and a flourishing Los Angeles.

Journeying with Jesus...

What We Believe
Though our church is relatively new, it is not new in its beliefs and practices. We are part of the Great Tradition of historic Christianity, which is rooted in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments and is summarized in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds.
We are a member of the Presbyterian Church in America, a family of churches in the reformed tradition whose unifying beliefs are summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms. We deeply value the collaboration, accountability, and visible expression of the gospel that comes through connection to other churches.
Our Pastor

Dan Myers is the founding pastor of New Creation Church in Glendale, California, which he planted in 2016. He is a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis and previously worked for many years in Los Angeles as a freelance musician and composer — work he still enjoys today. Throughout his music career, Dan has composed for network television and short films, toured with world-renowned artists, and arranged and orchestrated music for live orchestras. His background in both the arts and theology continues to shape the culture of New Creation Church, a community filled with artists, academics, and thoughtful people from many walks of life. Dan and his wife, Kerstin, have been married for 28 years and are the parents of three adult daughters.
